April 1st, Montrose, CO. Today, Colorado’s 39th Attorney General Phil Weiser, announced his support of James Iacino in the June Democratic Primary. Elected in 2018, Weiser previously served as a Deputy Attorney General in the Obama Administration, and was the Dean of the University of Colorado Law School from 2011 until 2016.
As Attorney General, Weiser has shown a strong commitment to serving all Coloradans and has spent time visiting and listening to the most vulnerable communities throughout the state. Currently he is leading the charge in protecting Coloradans against predatory scams that have arisen in light of the ongoing public health crisis.
“At this critical time, we need more leaders like James Iacino who can bring the best of Colorado values and creative problem-solving to Washington,” stated Attorney General Phil Weiser. “James has know-how and experience needed to ensure the voices of Western and Southern Colorado are heard in Congress. Iacino continues to build momentum in the CD3 Democratic Primary with the Attorney General’s endorsement and has continued his commitment to being accessible to voters while practicing safe public health practices.
