June 30th, Montrose, CO. James Iacino released the following statement following the results of Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District Democratic Primary:
“Last October when we launched this campaign, we had one goal in mind: to beat Scott Tipton and bring real representation back to Western & Southern Colorado. Our economy is in shambles, our environment is under extreme stress, and the ACA remains in a constant state of danger. I’m proud to stand with Diane Mitsch Bush because my priorities are the same as they were then, and I know she will fight for what is right and bring a real voice back to the 3rd district.
None of this could have been done without all the supporters, volunteers, and donors we met & worked with along the way. Your dedication to making your communities and our country a better place is humbling, and I hope to be able to work with you to make the change we need to see into the future.
Most importantly I want to thank my wife Meghan and our two sons Edwin and August, your support through thick and thin has meant everything. Thank you to my team, our volunteers, and especially the voters. This is the year we flip Colorado’s 3rd blue and bring real representation back to the people”
