November 1st, 2019, Montrose, CO. Today, after an exciting launch that saw him visit with businesses and local voters in Grand Junction, James Iacino announced his fundraising totals through the first two weeks of his campaign. With 93% of contributions coming directly from Coloradans, he has raised $156,455, nearly matching the entire 3rd quarter haul of Scott Tipton, who raised $159,916 and outpacing Diane Mitsch Bush who raised $156,063.
With a focus on economic mobility, ensuring access to quality, affordable healthcare, and protecting our natural resources, Iacino wants to ensure that every Coloradan has access to their American Dream. With a strong initial push, he plans to bring this message to every corner of the district, with events in Montrose, Durango, and Aspen in the next week alone.
“I’m humbled by the early support we have seen since announcing my run for Congress. Our supporters are from right here in Colorado and know we need change in Washington D.C.” Iacino stated. “Having this kind of energy so early in the campaign is exciting. I look forward to continuing this momentum as we work to meet with people throughout Western and Southern Colorado.”
James and his wife Meghan have two sons. Former CEO of the Seattle Fish Company, he has a proven record of creating jobs and growing a business while showing a commitment to his employees and sustainability.
